Storyset (2020) My E-Commerce website will be selling Musical Instruments and materials, including courses, and books.  The business model for my E-Commerce website is both  B2C and B2B. This is because I will offer sale not only to individual instrumentalists, musicians or music enthusiasts, but also to organizations such as churches, schools, theatres, concert halls and many more. These would make up my target market. The business name for my E-Commerce website is  Clef Musicals .  My tagline / slogan is :  "...w here sound meets soul". I researched the following competitor E-Commerce websites: https://www.intasound-music.co.uk/  https://www.techinabox.co.uk/  https://jordanguitars.co.uk/  https://just-music.edan.io/  https://iconmusicuk.com/ All of the aforementioned websites offer a unique range of products, however, lacking by way of product affordability, user-friendly design, and variety of products. Website Project Initial Idea

Image
Creativeart (2016) Being a musician, it has always been a hassle locating new, used or affordable instruments and musical materials online. Usually, you would have to visit separate websites for this. However, my initial project idea for a website is to incorporate a solution to this problem into an all-inclusive website for musical organizations, such as churches or schools, and musicians themselves to be able to access both instruments and materials for learning easily and efficiently. Advantages and Disadvantages of Meta Tags

Image
Storyset (2022) Like most concepts in the world, and across several fields, anything that has an advantage, has a disadvantage, and vice verca. This is not misplaced in meta tags. This blog post will highlight some of the top advantages and disadvantages of meta tags. Advantages It's rumored that certain search engines still utilize meta description tags. By including such a tag on each page, it's possible that these pages may have an SEO benefit when indexed by those search engines. However, this has not been conclusively proven and its impact on SEO performance may vary. It is recommended to include relevant and concise meta descriptions for all pages to improve the visibility and click-through rate for users, regardless of the specific search engine used. ( Peach 2008) The meta description tag may show up in search results for certain search engines, particularly if it includes the searched keyword. The appearance of the meta description tag varies among search engines, as s

It is used to provide a summary of the content on the webpage. When working on improving a webpage's search engine ranking, it is generally considered good practice to include a meta description tag. Prior to the change in search engine algorithms, the keywords included in a website's meta description tag could affect its ranking on a search results page. However, Google stated in 2009 that it no longer takes into account meta descriptions or keywords when determining a website's ranking. Despite this, the meta description may still be displayed on the search results page if Google cannot find relevant content on the page using the searched keywords.  Contributor, T.T. (2

The more visibility a website has on search engines, the more likely it is that brand captures business."  LaFleur, G. (2022) He also goes further to state that "website visibility is commonly measured by the placement -- or ranking -- of the site on search engine results pages (SERPs). And companies always vie for the first page, where they are most likely to garner the most attention."  LaFleur, G. (2022) LaFleur explains that "search engines use bots to crawl all website pages, downloading and storing that information into a collection known as an index. This index is like a library and when someone searches for something in it, the search engine a

These pages and documents are interconnected by means of hyperlinks that users click on for information. This information can be in different formats, including text, images, audio and video." ( Awati, 2022) "British physicist Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. Along with colleagues at Geneva-based CERN -- the European Organization for Nuclear Research -- Berners-Lee had been working on the concept since 1989.
