Definition of E-commerce?
E-commerce (electronic commerce) can be defined
as "the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of
funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet." (Lutkevich, et. al,
2022)
With the advent of the computer age, all goods and
services that were once solely transacted physically can now be done digitally,
through electronic commerce (E-commerce). Some examples of e-commerce websites
are: amazon, asos, ebay, tesco, et cetera. (
